The Tron Foundation has announced that it is conforming to the Japanese regulations and is motioning to remove any decentralized applications (DApps) focused on gambling.
According to an official press release from the blockchain platform, Tron is striving to expand blockchain technology and encourage the development of applications on the network. Tron is determined that this advancement, however, occurs while adhering to national regulations and international law.

In the press release, the Foundation declared Tron:
- will conform strictly with all blockchain related laws and regulation in Japan.
- does not encourage the development of any gambling DApps in Japan and recommends that any devs working on gambling apps block Japanese IP addresses
- does not endorse any existing gambling DApps in the Japanese market
The Foundation also declared that it will be teaming up with the Japanese government in order to offer support in the case where any Japanese laws are violated by Tron-based DApps.
