eToro, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, announced today that it will be listing Cardano’s ADA token as its latest addition.

Cardano will be joining the eToro ranks and will be on the platform along with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple’s XRPBCHEOS, Litecoin, StellarNEO, Dash, and Ethereum Classic.

The addition of the cryptocurrency, which is currently the world’s eighth highest ranked token with a $4 billion USD market cap, is of great excitement to the eToro team who have said that the token was constructed “according to a scientific philosophy” by leading “academics and engineers” and will be operating in a two-fold way of handling transactions as well as processing smart contracts.

Co-founder and CEO of eToro, Yoni Assia said of the news:

We are seeing growing interest in new cryptocurrencies increasing all the time. We are committed to bringing the top traded crypto assets onto our platform for our users to invest in.”

eToro is a platform which caters for the less experienced cryptocurrency traders or users who do not have time to maintain their trading and offers its users the feature of imitating the trading patterns of other customers.

The exchange has released a new platform which will offer a tool which will allow account users to communicate with other traders and investors from the US about virtual currencies while recording any strategies of more accomplished customers. Cardano will be offered as an asset on this platform joining the other ten cryptocurrencies listed.

Currently, Cardano’s ADA is down by 0.19% day-on-day and is presently trading at $ 0.17 USD.
