Coinbase Pro announces support for privacy token Zcash

Leading cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase is now offering support for privacy token Zcash on platform Coinbase Pro.

Coinbase has announced that it will be supporting privacy token Zcash on its Coinbase Pro platform.

According to a release from the company, the platform is now accepting transfers and have been accepting deposits since yesterday. The release states:

“ZEC trading will initially be accessible for Coinbase Pro users in the US (excluding NY), UK, European Union, Canada, Singapore and Australia. Additional jurisdictions may be added at a later date.”

Zcash is a cryptocurrency focused on offering privacy to its users and is aimed at using cryptography to provide enhanced privacy for its users compared to other cryptocurrencies.

The company states that the order of processes is as follows:

  1. Transfer-only,
  2. Post-only,
  3. Limit-only, and
  4. Full trading.

Zcash is now trading at $81.592 USD – which is a 1.42% decrease in day-on-day trading.
