Which celebrities have NFT collections?

Beyond cryptocurrencies, the digital asset space has been emerging over the last two years. Brands like Coca-Cola, Asics, Nike, and Taco Bell have introduced NFTs to their services and collectibles.

Serena Williams

The American tennis player not only stepped into the world of NFTs, but she jumped right in with joining the board of a well-known NFT sport’s token platform. Williams is on the board of Sorare, as a partner to offer in-depth analysis of the sports sector from the viewpoint of a player. Williams has expressed enthusiasm at the idea of breaking into the NFT market with the sports-focused digital firm.

Regarding Williams’ entrance to the NFT space, the CEO of Sorare commented:

“Serena is one of the most important figures in sport and culture, who has redefined the figure of the athlete and the modern entrepreneur, also thanks to the unprecedented success of her investments in several new realities. The strategic advice Serena will bring in building one of the most iconic sports entertainment brands is invaluable. I am thrilled to have her on the team.”

Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton and designer Blake Kathryn worked together to produce a trio of NFT pieces. In April 2021, the artworks were all purchased for just over a million dollars. She has also said that she believes the NFT sector to be the next development in artistic expression:

“I see NFTs as a way to innovate, empower others and push the boundaries of how artists interact with their fans. I see NFTs, or non-fungible tokens, as the future of the creator economy. And blockchain technology will allow artists to get paid on secondary sales as well. That’s never happened before and it is mindblowing how much that can change things for artists.”

Tony Hawk

Tony Hawk, one of the most prominent skateboarders in the world, made his debut in the NFT community by creating a video of himself pulling off a trick. Hawk has performed moves “for the final time” in videos that will live on the blockchain forever. 16,600 different digital collectibles with varying levels of rarity have been made from the tricks. Hawk announced his entry into the field by saying:

“It’s humbling to see how these tricks are taking on new life in the digital era even after I’ve performed my last ones. It allows fans the opportunity to experience them once again in a new way.”
